Join us for A Curious Tea Party!
We here at Princeton Summer Theater are thrilled to announce our first ever children’s performance activity, A Curious Tea Party! This show, written by PST-Regular Annika Bennett will be performed by children, from their very own homes!
About the show: We here at Princeton Summer Theater were sad to miss out on a summer of fun, interactive storytelling with our Children's Show audiences. Our solution? Our first ever play written specifically for actors to perform from the comfort of their homes... and for the first time, we're looking for 8-12-year old actors to join us! Our original children’s show, written by Annika Bennett, is a twist on the classic story of Alice in Wonderland, sure to entertain audiences of all ages. The shows will be held on Zoom, and families of actors will be able to watch the show live.
How to register: Children, ages 8-12 are invited to participate in this reading. There are two available sessions, to be held at 2 pm on July 7th and 9th. Registration is free, but a tax-deductible donation of $20 is more than appreciated. Two Princeton Summer Theater staff members will be moderating the reading, and technical information will be sent out ahead of time regarding Zoom and watching the show. For children and parents, we will ask you to read through the script together once or twice, and put together some simple at-home costume pieces to add more magic to the show!
